The Washington Long Term Care Division seeks to further the mission and core values of the Providence Health System by continuing the healing ministry of Jesus in the world of today, with a special concern for those who are poor and vulnerable. Working with others in a spirit of loving service, we strive to meet the health care needs of people as they journey through life. As a result of this commitment, the Long Term Care Division strives to create a future where Providence is recognized as:
- The provider of choice for those served: residents, families, and physicians.
- An innovative leader that shapes the delivery of long term care and the public policy necessary to support it.
- A highly desirable place to use one’s gifts. Through programs such as Providence ElderPlace, which provides comprehensive and integrated care for frail elders in their own homes, to our nationally recognized residential programs such as Providence Mount St. Vincent and Heritage House at the Market, Providence has been here to serve the needs of older adults and their families since 1856.
