Triangle Literacy Council

  • Mission

The Triangle Literacy Council improves the lives of adults, youth, and families by teaching basic literacy and life skills for economic and social success.

    About Us

Founded in 1970 by a small group of committed volunteers, the Triangle Literacy Council (TLC) is devoted to enriching the lives of Triangle area adults, youth, and families through literacy. TLC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides free and confidential tutoring for adults and youth to improve their reading, writing and speaking skills. Last year we served more than 600 adults and over 1,200 at-risk youth through our many varied programs.
