Resistance School (a project of Cambridge Foundation for Peace)

  • About Us

Resistance School was founded in March of 2017 by graduate students at Harvard who wanted to find a way to contribute to the wave of new and renewed political activism in communities across the country.

We offer what you need to make the changes you want to see in the world—videos, readings, and resources on topics like community organizing, communication skills, and electoral tactics—and connect you to organizations that need your help.

Our trainings are led by renowned political campaigners, communicators, organizers, and academics. Whether you are new to organizing or a veteran looking to broaden your skills or deepen your impact, you’ll find a training that meets you where you are.

We believe in the power of collective action to break through barriers that undermine people’s access to democracy. Together, through sustained and effective community organizing grounded in values of fairness, equity, and inclusivity, we can reclaim, rebuild, and reimagine America.
