Dedicated to the principles of a democratic society, including open economic enterprise, self-reliance, freedom of inquiry, and limited government, Taube Philanthropies works to ensure that all citizens will have full opportunity for advancement of their goals and dreams. Areas of concentration include education and scholarship, institution and community building, Jewish cultural renewal and heritage preservation, and the arts and civic life. The foundation's geographic focus is primarily on the San Francisco Bay Area, Poland, and Israel.
