    The Star Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to stillbirth research and education. We are a community of parents, families, and friends of stillborn babies who are dedicated to reducing the number of families that endure such a needless tragedy. Our Mission The Star Legacy Foundation mission is to increase awareness, support research, education and family advocacy regarding stillbirth. Our Vision We believe there is great hope for the future to prevent many stillbirths in the United States and around the world and we intend to bring this hope to light. We envision that through the utilization of technology, education and grassroots efforts, we can empower parents and families to be an advocate for their unborn babies.

    About Us

    The Star Legacy Foundation supports stillbirth research and education projects through a network of parents, grandparents, families and friends of stillborn babies as well as dedicated healthcare professionals that believe stillbirth prevention is not only possible but probable.

    30,000 babies are stillborn each year in the US in the final days before their are to be born. For most the cause is never known and these babies are otherwise healthy. Stillbirth statistics in the US have not changed in over 40 years in spite of great advancements in healthcare technology.
