VITA SPORTING CLUB - OBUASI

Vita Sporting Club popularly known as “Vita ooooo Vita” is a sports philanthropist club based in the gold mining town of Obuasi, south of Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The Club uses sports to promote behavioral change among teenagers who are on the street - our programmes seeks to help troubled youths in and around Obuasi to redefine their life for the benefit of family and community.

We do not discriminate against anyone and our doors are open to ALL -

Social development program that provides sport and recreational activities to children and youths, offering a safe place to play and grow, establishing values of accountability and responsibility, teaching goal setting and instilling in children and youth the ability to dream and go out and achieve their goals.

OUR VISION:

Our vision is to raise healthy, happy and educated children and youths who have the opportunity to go out and pursue the careers and goals they have dreamt of.

In our vision we see a community where there is significantly reduced alcohol and drug abuse, crime and social deviance, and teenage pregnancy.

Our children and youths have access to education, skills transfer, and knowledge on personal development and environmental care.

Children are protected and have a safe place to grow and develop.
