Life Journey Partners is a new organization developed to address the growing Caregiving Crisis in our country. We are individuals who care deeply about the Caregiving Community and those they care for. Because of our varied work experiences in the fields of Medicine and Nursing, Elder Law and Care Coordination and Advocacy, we know that we need to take action now, to develop the right program for this moment in time for those who need our help to literally survive. We are currently enlisting volunteers from all areas of Phoenix to form our Caregiving Support Community. We know that asking individuals to volunteer volumes of hours caring for the most vulnerable is a lot to ask. We are working on procuring gift cards and service certificates (oil change, acupuncture, massage, etc) to support those who graciously answer our call for help. As a community, we hope to organize potlucks and group activities to gain the support we need from each other. And, lastly, we will offer webinars or in-person inservices to keep abreast of the most current information related to our work.
