Fundación Rainforest Rescue - FURARE

FURARE works on the premise that in order to help the environment, you have to help the people who live in it. We assist Ecuadorean farmers in making a living by means of 'Analog Forestry'. This involves developing and harvesting an extremely biologically diverse area that is very similar to the original primary forest of the region. FURARE mostly works in the tropics to the west of Quito, in some of the most environmentally valuable and threatened areas on the planet.
