    Jason Lewis was first elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2008. He serves as the Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health, co-founded and servesas the House Chair for the legislature's Prevention for Health Caucus, and led efforts in the state legislature to contain healthcare costs and to reform the state's education financing system. Jason has been an effective, committed democratic leader so far, and he will work hard to continue that legacy if elected to the State Senate. The 5th Middlesex District includes Malden, Melrose, Stoneham, Reading, Wakefield, and parts of Winchester.
