Our mission is to reverse the crisis of Black maternal health nationwide by providing life-saving services.

MOMCares was founded in 2017 with a mission to combat the Black maternal mortality rate crisis in the Baltimore region. By providing compassionate care to historically under-supported mothers with previous NICU experience, MOMCares has supported over 100 families throughout Baltimore City. We are the only organization in Maryland that provides no cost doula services.

MOMCares provides meal support, transportation, bedside support, birth planning, education and self-care opportunities to mothers in need.
