The MA Government program at New Mexico State University offers a rigorous academic training in research methods and political science with a strong focus on international migration, border policies and human rights. Located just 40 minutes from the US-Mexico border, we provide opportunities to students seeking to conduct original research on border issues in collaboration with immigrants rights advocacy groups in southern New Mexico, El Paso and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
