Bronx-Lebanon Hospital South Bronx Asthma Partnership
About Us
The South Bronx Asthma Partnership (SOBRAP) is a coalition of organizations formed to address the high rate of asthma in the South Bronx. The group hopes to decrease asthma-related emergency room visits, missed school days, and hospitalizations, and to increase asthma education opportunities for the community, medical providers, patients and families.
Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center is a not-for-profit health care system that has been serving the South and Central Bronx for over 100 years. Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center offers a wide range of high-quality in-patient and out-patient services, including medical, surgical, psychiatric, pediatric, and dental care. Bronx Lebanon’s commitment to serving the community is demonstrated in the numerous community-based projects it leads, including the Asthma Literacy Project, Community Health Education Center, Community Action for Prenatal Care, and the South Bronx Asthma Partnership.
