El Shaddai ESL Program
About Us
The mission of our ESL Program at El Shaddai is to strengthen the connections between the local New Orleans community and the Latin American immigrant community through providing English language skills. We want to enhance our students' quality of life by giving them the resources they need to succeed here in the USA. While we use the facilities of a religious organization, our ESL program is not religious in nature.
We offer evening classes to adult Spanish speaking immigrants. The majority of our students come from Honduras. We currently have 3 levels of English classes (Level 1, 2, and 4) Mondays and Thursdays from 7-9 p.m.
Our next session will run from March 31, 2014-June 19, 2014. New students are welcome to join us for our placement test on March 31 at 7 p.m. and classes will begin on April 3, 2014 at 7 p.m.
