  • About Us

    Cobra Rec Center is run at the International Studies Academy in collaboration with SFUSD and the Urban Services YMCA . It strives to provide exlempary tutoring/homework assistance, community service opportunities, college prep and enrichment activities to ISA students Monday-Friday 3:15PM-6:15PM. Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment for students to grow academically and socially.

    Our after school program is catered towards middle and high school students and we are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us with our tutoring program. We are also looking for volunteers to lead after school program classes. We are open to suggestions from volunteers about enrichment programs they would like to bring to our program. We require volunteers for this initiatve to committ to coming at least once a week for 1-2 hours during one of our sessions. Our sessions occur every 7-8 weeks. Some programs we are interested in starting are: Skateboarding Creative Writing Baking Grafitti/Mural Art Graphic Art Music ANYTHING!!! By all means contact us if you have the time and passion for using your talents to contribute to youth enrichment.
