  • About Us

Connecting Through Literacy: Incarcerated Parents, their Children and Caregivers (CLICC) is a literacy and mentoring program for incarcerated parents and their children. We use reading books and intensive, supportive mentoring to increase communication and strengthen bonds between children and their parents in prison. CLICC created and operates the first statewide mentoring network in Connecticut that is specifically created for children of the incarcerated. We also mentor their parents in prison, pre- and post-release.
