Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School

  • About Us

Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School (BFS) is a summer and after school academic enrichment program designed to close the achievement gap for low-income elementary and middle school students. Horizons at BFS makes a commitment of nine consecutive summers of high-quality summer learning supported by school year activities to each Horizons student who enters the program in kindergarten. Committed to the development of the whole child, professional faculty engage Horizons students in experiences that build social, emotional and critical thinking skills, enhance self-esteem, and encourage a life-long interest in learning.
