Madison County Community Learning Centers

We are a nature-based Preschool - 8th grade school located on 30 acres in the rural Appalachian mountains of Madison County, NC. The only model of its kind, we are a farm, art, and forest school that teachers the traditional school subjects alongside the nontraditional subjects such as Agriculture, Art, and Outdoor Education. Our students learn where their food comes from, how to grow it, and how to be a positively contributing member of their communities. Most of our graduates head off to the early college, equipped and ready for life's challenges!
