  • About Us

Woman Warrior provides healing yoga and meditation workshops for women who have experienced sexual assault and abuse. Our workshops are a safe space where women learn yoga and meditation techniques that are proven to reduce the impacts of post-traumatic stress. We empower survivors via in-person workshops, online classes, and Woman Warrior teacher trainings.

Through low student fees and donor support, we bring Woman Warrior workshops to all women who want to participate and strategically collaborate with and serve populations who most often experience sexual violence – Black, Latina, and Indigenous women – and women from marginalized and underserved communities who otherwise wouldn’t have access to healing services. Woman Warrior is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
