Cody’s Friends Rescue is an all-breed, volunteer-based, Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue formed by passionate dog lovers

Thanks to over 100 foster homes, we are making a difference and Saving Lives... One Dog at a Time.

We are an all-breed rescue (from Poodles to Pits), focusing on dogs that urgently need our help. We are dedicated to Animal Rescue and Adoption.

OUR GOALS ARE CLEAR

* Help homeless, unwanted, neglected and abused dogs find loving, forever homes.

* Raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering - 

not only for the health of the dog, but also to control overpopulation.

* Educate the public and bring awareness to the community about shelters, and about so many wonderful available dogs that are euthanized due to lack of space.

Approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.9 million are dogs and 3.4 million are cats. Each year, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized (1.2 million dogs, and 1.4 million cats).

If more people were to adopt their next best friend from a shelter or reputable rescue, instead of buying, we would make an incredible difference in the number of animals put down at local shelters.
