The Alliance serves as an independent voice and external catalyst for excellence in San Francisco’s public schools. By sharing the vision of all students achieving at high levels, we work as active partners with the schools to identify needs, to develop initiatives, to channel private resources toward strategic programs, and to ensure accountability at all levels.

Guided by a broad-based coalition of business, civic, education, and philanthropic community leaders, the San Francisco School Alliance is committed to stewarding positive, strategic change in our school system. Our community-generated resources will bring additional training, materials, expertise, and innovation to our schools, and will help secure a world-class school system that delivers a world-class education for every student in the San Francisco Unified School District.
