Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum

  • Mission

The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum's mission is to preserve the history of railroading in the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts.

    About Us

The museum complex is based at the restored, historic Lenox, MA depot and includes a short train ride in the yard.

Heritage train ride experiences take place between Adams and North Adams, MA.

Many volunteer opportunities are available both on-board and off the train in operations, mechanical, administration, special events, and curating our artifacts.

While the Lenox museum is open only on Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, train ride experiences from Adams, take place during all four seasons of the year.
