NATIVE PLANT SALVAGE FOUNDATION

  • Mission

Providing hands-on education to protect and conserve water resources and habitat from the South Sound Prairies to the shores of Puget Sound since 1994.

    About Us

The Native Plant Salvage Foundation is a non-profit organization that is guided by a volunteer board of directors, and supported by a small but mighty crew of volunteers, supporters, educators and community partners.

As our name implies, we salvage native plants during the winter months at sites that are soon to be developed. Our programs also expand far beyond our winter salvages. We operate a holding beds for salvaged plants and nursery where we offer propagation workshops regularly. Our work also includes restoration activities as well as education and outreach in the fields of Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GIS), school programs, plant identification classes, and sustainable landscaping.
