Blue Stoop of Culture Trust

Blue Stoop is a fiscally sponsored project of the 501c3 nonprofit CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia that nurtures an inclusive literary community by creating pathways to access writing education, inspiration, and professional support, and celebrating Philadelphia’s rich writing tradition. Blue Stoop serves Philadelphia writers and readers from all walks of life, offering classes, events, and resources that are both artistically rigorous and rooted in anti-racist frameworks. Now in our fourth year, we have held 112 events for the public, served over 400 students, and offered nearly $40,000 in financial aid. We have also received funding from the National Book Foundation, Philadelphia Cultural Fund, the Poetry Foundation, and Philadelphia's Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy.
