    About Us

Internationally The Salvation Army was founded in London, England and has served Humboldt County based in Eureka, California since 1888. We provide food boxes, low income senior housing and programming, utility assistance, clothing closet, youth programs, mens & women's ministries, holiday food boxes and toys in partnership with Humboldt Bay Fire. We are a church but function as a movement and are intentional about serving the community as the hands and feet of Christ. We are a very learn organization with very few paid part time positions; nearly everything that happens occurs because volunteers partner with us to make it happen. Please become a volunteer today!
