Cradle to Career Tennessee

Our vision is to support the conditions where every community flourishes and every Tennessean thrives -from cradle-to-career.

Within three years, our coalition will place more people on the pathway to economic opportunity across the three Grand Divisions of Tennessee by successfully:

1. aligning resources and policy behind the most effective cradle-to-career strategies;
2. supporting coalition members as place-based backbone organizations; and
3. growing this coalition to support advocacy and implementation of programs that place people on a pathway to economic mobility.

C2C TN is a recently established state-wide nonprofit, seeking to work with a coalition of partners across the three grand divisions of Tennessee to place people on a pathway to economic opportunity by focusing on the most important factors that determine someone’s ability to go from lowest economic quintile to middle quintile and beyond. This work is done by working with partnerships and coalition members across the state to improve outcomes for students and families; develop and support effective policies; scale effective practices; and work to align philanthropic, federal, state and local funds behind cradle to career initiatives.
