Vietnamese American Community Center of the East Bay (VACCEB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to serve the evolving needs of Vietnamese Americans through educational, cultural, and social services to promote the well-being, integration, and empowerment of the community. VACCEB currently offers a wide range of bilingual and bicultural appropriate services to Vietnamese seniors including language, computer, citizenship, health, wellness, and recreational classes and activities; hot meals; and transportation and social services.
VACCEB also offers services to youth with a summer youth program, after school tutoring, and a mentorship program between the local students and college students. VACCEB will begin providing services to victims of domestic violence with an intake and referral line. Summer 2010 will also see the beginning of monthly legal clinics as a joint collaboration with the Alameda County Bar Association and a Vietnamese language class for adults.
