Society for Harmony, Aid and Prosperous Economy (SHAPE)

  • About Us

Society for Harmony, Aid & Prosperous Economy (SHAPE) is a grassroots regional NGO working in the aspects of Women, Children, and Environmental Care in Tiruvannamalai District. Our target groups are HIV patients, orphans, poor, rescued child/bonded laborers, physically challenged, transgender among other vulnerable groups. We train women for free in income generational skills like fashion designing, computers, typewriting, and sewing. We fight for child rights by providing rights education through our free literacy centers where computer training, slow learners excelling, art training, and extra credit tuition also take place for the above-mentioned target groups. For the environment, we plant trees, promote organic farming, place trash cans, make degradable use-and-throw bags, and collect garbage with paid workers
