About Us
TreeFolks is the only nonprofit in Central Texas devoted solely to improving and increasing the urban tree canopy. Our mission is to empower Central Texans to build stronger communities through planting and caring for trees.
Since 1989, TreeFolks has planted over two million trees in Central Texas. We partner with local government organizations to plant trees in city parks and greenbelts and we're reforesting the private lands affected by the 2011 Bastrop County Complex fire and the 2015 Blanco River floods.
