Jewish Kids Groups

Jewish Kids Groups, Atlanta's independent Hebrew school, is creating a brand new educational model. We're re-imagining Jewish education and community. JKG welcomes affiliated and unaffiliated families into a warm, immersive community that meets them where they are Jewishly and works for their busy lives.

Our Approach:

• Employs a cutting-edge curriculum called Hebrew Wizards, bolstered by Jewish enrichment programming like arts and crafts, drama, cooking, and sports.
• Focuses on building meaningful Jewish friendships and community. It is these close relationships, often forged at Jewish summer camps, that impact our adult Jewish identities and are our best tool for impacting the future of the Jewish people.
• Offers creative, convenient programming, including Sundays and an innovative, five-day-a-week Afterschool Community.
• Meets in Intown Atlanta and serves all Jewish families.

Our Programs:

• JKG Afterschool Community is a unique weekday Hebrew school that works for your busy family. We combine the services of a premium afterschool program with a full Hebrew school curriculum-- all in a camp-like enviornment. We meet M-F, 2:30-6:00. Families choose the days that are best for them.

• At JKG Sunday School, classes engage with music, art, spirited tefillah (prayer), Jewish gardening, and community events. Through collaborative projects and group initiatives, we focus on Hebrew vocabulary acquisition, Jewish holidays and stories, community building, and an integrated Israel curriculum.

• JKG Journey is a robust Jewish educational experience for the middle-school years. We boast an experiential, three year (6th-8th grade) curriculum, and serve families who are and are not affiliated with a synagogue.
