Adler Aphasia Center
The mission of the Adler Aphasia Center is to empower, enhance and enrich the lives of people with aphasia and their caregivers. Aphasia is a communications disorder, usually as a result of a stroke or other brain injury. A person with aphasia typically has difficulty speaking, reading and/or writing but it does not affect their intellect. The center offers peer support, education and communication strategy activities that help people with aphasia get on with their lives in meaningful ways.
