About Us
US Horse Welfare and Rescue Org was founded to promote the safety and welfare of America's horses through rescuing, advocacy, education, and supportive programs. USHWR also provides support for our fellow man in need of healing through our equine-assisted learning and therapy programs. Here humans heal horse and horses heal humans.
Most recently USHWR has formed a spin-off, a 501(c)4 to work on advocacy, education and lobbying for laws to protect America's wild and domesticated horses from the underground, well-hidden horse slaughter pipeline.
