  • About Us

We are an organization that is committed to preserving, promoting and sharing Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage. We do so by creating, funding and supporting multi-cultural and intergenerational education which celebrates diversity, art, culture, and language. We are also devoted to preserving Japanese American history and heritage. By honoring both the contributions and challenges of Pacific Northwest Issei and Nisei generations, we offer publications, family legacy projects and the Northwest Nikkei Museum.
