About Us
Mott Haven Academy Charter School, the only charter school in the nation designed to focus on the needs of children in the child welfare system, is seeking progressive educators to serve as teachers in our growing elementary school. We have partnered with one of the largest not-for-profit social service agencies, the New York Foundling, to bridge the gap between educators, families, and the social services community. Our goal is to ensure children growing up in underserved, urban communities, and particularly those in the child welfare system have access to the same opportunities to exceed academic achievement standards to which all students are held.
