HAITI DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

  • About Us

The Haiti Development Project is in the business of rebuilding a nation through education.

Founded in 2010, the Haiti Development Project (HDP) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the State of New York that helps enroll unschooled children on L’Île de la Tortue, Haiti who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend school.

Since the catastrophic earthquake of January 12, 2010, the Haiti Development Project has been in the forefront helping the Haitian children learn how to read and write. We believe that Haitian children deserve a fighting chance to learn, achieve greatness, and own their destinies.
