South Texas Blood & Tissue provides blood, plasma, platelets and other blood components to 67 hospitals in 43 South Texas counties. STBTC operates seven convenient donor rooms in South Texas and schedules multiple mobile blood drives each week.

For over 35 years, our team of dedicated professionals has made life-saving connections. Our diverse services bridge critical medical industry needs with innovative solutions.

    The BBG Mission: To save and enhance lives through the healing power of human cells.

    South Texas Blood & Tissue supplies blood and blood components to area hospital patients.

    The STBT mission: To be the blood provider bridging caring people to patients.

    QualTex Laboratories is the largest, independent, nonprofit testing laboratory in the United States that offers testing services for global biotechnology customers.

    The QualTex Mission: To support global public safety with the timely delivery of high-quality testing services for patients, donors and regulated biological products.

    GenCure taps the power of human cells and tissues to heal by using advances in regenerative medicine.

    The GenCure Mission: To realize the potential of donated human cells and tissue to save and enhance lives.

    The Blood & Tissue Foundation raises awareness and funds to support the many life-saving activities of BBG.
