UGENYA YOUTH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (UYCDP)

 Organizational Background

Ugenya Youth Community Development Project (UYCDP) is a registered non-profit Community Based Organization established to initiate, support and implement local community development projects in rural and urban informal settlements in Kenya. Established by the founder who is a native of Umala village in Kenya, the organization seeks to empower individuals, families and communities by eliminating barriers to opportunities and helping those in need to reach their potential through sustainable social, cultural and economic development initiatives.

MISSION:

UYCDP works to enhance the quality of life of children, adolescents and communities in rural and urban informal settlements in Kenya, through implementation of education, health, education, water & sanitation, environment and international exchange projects.

VISION:

To see a community that is empowered to contribute to sustainable development.
