OurSchoolsNYC is an online news source, calendar, and resource center for parents, educators, and community-at-large in all 5 boroughs. We report on important events, like PEP meetings and school closure hearings, as well as do features on struggling schools and success stories.

We are a volunteer-based organization, relying on the generosity of citizen reporters and activists to keep our viewers informed and to keep us balanced in an increasingly slanted media environment.
