  • About Us

Established with the support of Episcopal Relief and Development in 2005, the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana’s Office of Disaster Response is committed to bringing home our hurricane-displaced neighbors. We work with volunteers to rebuild the homes of the most vulnerable displaced citizens, offer case management and ministry services, and help fight violence among New Orleans’ youth. Our ministries have provided thousands with housing, food, medicine, healthcare, and counseling. We’re working to build an all-inclusive “beloved community” in which the poor and disenfranchised of New Orleans will have a voice.
