  • About Us

Working from our values of love, play, and peace, Man Question uses a theatre-based workshop to address masculinity, grow community, and create possibilities for new gender expressions, in order to create a world free of gender-based oppression in which every person has the power to play with and create their own identities. Man Question was created in the spring of 2011 as original research into the use of applied theatre to address masculinity. A group of eleven men from around New York participated in the workshop, joyously, quickly forming community together. Since then, founders Wil Fisher and Michael Wilson have shared the workshop with Rowan University's sociology department, the East Side Institute, Easton Mountain Retreat Center, and Garner Correctional Institution.
