Symphonicity

Symphonicity is the symphony orchestra for the largest city of Virginia, the City of Virginia Beach. Our 200 talented musicians come from all walks of life to help ensure everyone can access quality symphonic music. With innovative multimedia masterworks at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, multiple pops concerts, annual sing-alongs, children's concerts and dozens of small music performances, we offer something for everyone!

Symphonicity is the symphony orchestra for the largest city in Virginia, the City of Virginia Beach. As a community orchestra, we are comprised of more than 200 talented musicians from the local area who do more than just play music! We have doctors, scientists, religious clergy, artists, educators, dedicated amateurs and even professional musicians who dedicate more than 12,000 hours annually to offer truly awesome symphonic experiences at a low cost for the community!

We play for the love of music in high-quality, innovative, and dynamic symphonic experiences with integrated multimedia, special effects, stage commentary and more. Each year Symphonicity offers five masterworks performances, multiple pops concerts, a sing-along of Handel's Messiah, a children's concert and dozens of small chamber performances throughout our community, all priced to ensure the broadest possible access for everyone!
