We are in Infant Toddler Center and Preschool on beautiful Orcas Island. We cherish and revere play. It’s the medium that brings us closer to our mission of preparing children for kindergarten and life.

We make space for children’s creative time and their pursuits in understanding their world. We capitalize on their natural motivation to explore through play. We call it playful inquiry - a way of learning that is both enjoyable and encourages curiosity.

More than just fun, play is a sophisticated act, mastered by our species that shapes us to be creative and flexible thinkers. The long-term benefits of play-based education are remarkable. This is why more child development experts advocate for play in early childhood education.

A hallmark of our education program is our small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios. In a warm nurturing setting, children receive a bespoke education that lasts a lifetime.
