Journey's Way

Journey's Way, a program of Intercommunity Action Inc, a not for profit organization, provides resources and programs that enable older adults to improve their health and well being through lifelong learning, social and health opportunities, creative volunteer experiences, and a variety of counseling, information, and housing services. The Center offers independent adults age 55+ opportunities for life long learning and creativity, health promotion, volunteering, and socialization, information and assistance, housing counseling and nutrition and transportation. The Geriatric Counseling Service has experience therapistsprovide mental health services to older adults in their homes or other community sites. Pensdale Village, Pensdale Village II, and the Fairthorne provide affordable aprtments designed to meet the needs of the residents. A service coordinator assists with any needs or problems.
