    About Us

    Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh, Inc., previously Catholic Social Ministries, began in 1898 as the Catholic Orphanage of North Carolina and has maintained non-profit status since 1983. We serve people of all faiths or no faith tradition. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh provides services in the 54 most eastern counties in North Carolina, through eight regional offices.

    Our mission, values, services, and commitment remain constant in serving all people in need. The agency provides Disaster Services, Emergency Assistance, Immigration Assistance, Services in Support of the Family, and Parish and Community Engagement Assistance.
