About Us
Be The Change Development Corporation was founded in 2010 by leaders of the Baltimore–Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church. Under the leadership of Bishop John Schol, the mission of Be The Change Development Corporation is to end homelessness in the Washington, DC by creating supportive housing for vulnerable populations through partnerships and innovation. To achieve this goal, Be The Change (BTC) works in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding counties.
