Mission
MomCo (formerly known as MOPS) is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. At The MomCo of Peoria, our mission is to connect families through high-quality and straightforward women's gatherings, creating a welcoming space for mothers to come together and share the joys and challenges of life, motherhood, and their faith in Jesus. At The MomCo of Peoria, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that values the importance of motherhood, anchored in our belief in Jesus as our guide and source of inspiration. Our vision is to strengthen the bonds between mothers and deepen their relationship with Jesus, cultivating a network of support that extends beyond our meetings.
About Us
The MomCo of Peoria launched 3 years ago in Peoria out of a need for community with other moms. Our goal is two monthly meetings in a space where moms can have their children in a safe space of childcare to get two short hours to learn, grow and connect with other moms. We also host community play dates and events. We partner with a foster care agency in the area to provide goods and support for teen moms on foster care and others in the system as well.
I e are here to help encourage moms in some of the hardest times of motherhood and provide space in the community for that.
