Creating clearer pathways to success for early stage entrepreneurs in Los Angeles.

Grid110 is an economic and community development non-profit that provides mentoring/resources for early-stage entrepreneurs through free cohort-based, accelerator style programs. The goal is to activate community and help entrepreneurs realize sustainable growth paths that allow them to scale their businesses (and teams) right here in Los Angeles.

Building the next tech hub in Downtown Los Angeles.

Grid110 began in 2015 as a collective of seven entrepreneurs with a shared vision of Downtown LA as the country’s next tech hub. At the time, the area was slow to attract entrepreneurs and startups. But we knew that innovation was–and continues–to be the heart and soul of DTLA. With distinct neighborhoods and industries rooted in the historic anchors of this dynamic city, the area was full of untapped resources. Over the next few years, our work would support the growth of DTLA’s startup ecosystem and result in partnerships with different properties to activate vacant spaces, and opening up our programs from fashion tech to all business verticals.

Now in our fourth year of programming, Grid110 has provided 50 early stage startups with access to office space, mentoring, community, and other critical resources through cohort-based programs. Although we don’t currently offer any funding, we’re able to offer our programs to entrepreneurs and startups completely free of charge. Participating companies don’t give up any equity or pay fees, which allows us to focus helping companies with their best business interests in mind.
