    The Association for Learning and Mentoring Services, Inc.'s (ALMS) mission is to empower the youth of New York and New Jersey with their families to take responsibility for themselves and their communities through volunteer programs and services promoting positive social and civic values.

    About Us

    ALMS has established a solid foundation of programs through food pantries, meal delivery , senior events, and volunteer programs supporting hundreds of individuals and families across the New York City Metro area in just a few short years. ALMS initiatives support children, seniors, and those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Currently, ALMS serves communities in New York City (West Harlem, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island) and Rockland County, as well as Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Bergen Counties in New Jersey. ALMS has grown from 75 volunteers to over 200 active volunteers.
