Nicology

  • About Us

Nicology works with women and children who live in and around Managua's enormous city dump, surviving by scavenging for recyclables. We are developing a series of products made from these same materials, including jewelry from bottle caps, clothes from maquiladora scraps, handbags from billboards, and lamps from plastic gas mask containers. Our goal is to create sustainable, dignified, income-generating opportunities that support children being in school rather than working in the dump.
