ACHIEVEMENTS:

DSG HAS SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED BLOOD DONATION EXERCISE IN PASRTNERSHIP WITH TWIFO PRASO DISTRICT HOSPITAL. THIS WAS SUPPORTED BY INDIVIDUAL DONATION. (6/03/12)

• ON 26 MAY 2012 DSG WITH FUNDING FROM WORLD VISION TWIFO PRASO ADP EMBACKED ON SANITATION EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC. ACTIVITIES DONE INCLUDE CLEAN UP EXERCISE SUPPORTED BY ZOOM LION GHANA, TWIFO PRASO OFFICE, CHRIST THE KING ACADEMY AND MEMBERS OF DSG.

• AS PART OF OUR HEALTH EDUCATIONAL PRAGRAMS, DSG HAD SUCCESSFULLY CARRIED OUT HIV/AIDS STIGMATIZATION PROJECTS IN 30 SELECTED COMMUNITIES IN THE DISTRICT. HERE COMMUNITY DURBAR WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE SENSITIZATION.

INTRODUCTION

DEVLOPMENT SEEKERS GROUP is an NGO dedicated to working in deprived communities across the length and breadth of Ghana. Our mission is to enhance human and social development and to eradicate poverty through the promotion of quality education and the involvement of deprived communities in governance.

AIMS AND OBLECTIVE

Health

• To support health centers in deprived communities
• Health education( various diseases)

Education

• To promote children and girl child education
• To organize exchange programs for school children in the community
• To promote research into science and technology

Livelihood

To promote women advocacy in the area of

• Micro financing and profitable business ventures.

STRATEGIES

• Build an elite team of executives and industry professionals
• Liaise with government agencies especially the district assembly in the project area
• Partner various traditional councils for effective community mobilization
• Involved expert before during and after project implementation
