  • About Us

Since 1986, the Office for Diversity and Academic Success in the Sciences (ODASIS) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has identified the individual needs of underrepresented and disadvantaged students in the sciences and aimed to meet them with supplemental academic instruction, continued guidance and advising.

Our mission is to encourage, support, and increase the number, participation, and success of underrepresented and disadvantaged students at Rutgers who pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines with particular emphasis on completion of graduate and/or professional education, thus creating a highly qualified, diverse professional science workforce.
